Recent Buys from The Body Shop (Pics Included!)

I did another major purchase from The Body Shop (TBS) when I went out for lunch in the midst of exam revision. Total cost was S$235.90. But the stuff can last me for a few months at least, so it does not cost that much, if you see it from that angle~

Here's what I bought (see pictures below):

4 bottles of Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser S$20.90 each
Since my first purchase of it in April this year, I am currently using my 4th bottle of it already. For those interested, you may read my review on this cleanser here.

From Left to Right:
Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion S$26.90 (My Night Moisturizer);
Aloe Soothing Moisture Lotion SPF 15 S$29.90 (My Day Moisturizer);
Tea Tree Oil S$16.90 (When I have those sudden pimples. *urgh*)

Almond Oil Nail & Cuticle Treatment S$19.90 I bought this just to try out. I have been using it for the past 3 nights. I feel that it helps in the softening of the cuticles. They do not look as obvious as before! First, I apply the oil using the brush, onto my nail and cuticle. Next, with the lid, it acts as a 'pusher' to push back the cuticles.

Nail File S$4.90
I bought it cos it is in GOLD!!!
The main pic shows the gold sheen of the nail file, whereas the
inserted pic shows the glittery side. So bling, so love!!!

Blusher Brush S$24.90 ; Face Pressed Powder S$28.90
The brush will be used for the pressed powder, not to brush on the blusher.
It is my first time trying TBS's pressed powder.

I am currently using the pressed powder from the Shiseido Maquillage range. The specific one I am using has never been available in the local market at all. Got it all the way from Japan when I made a trip over there. This particular pressed powder is so FAB as it illuminates my skin, cos it has the slight sheen/shimmer in it. As it was limited edition, it is not available anymore. :( As I did not really do a research on pressed powder, I am not sure which brand of it is good.... Hence I simply bought TBS's pressed powder cos my current one is finishing soon. I mean it wouldn't be that bad right? Afterall, it has already been dermatologically-tested. Maybe you can probably share with me what brand you use or recommend? :)

Vitamin C Plus Time Release Capsules
I was given samples of it cos I wanted to try out this range.

I feel that Vitamin C can help those people with scars (eg. acne scars). Cos I ever read that "high dose of vitamin C results in more formation of collagen. Excess of collagen replaces the scars on the face and makes the scars unnoticeable". I also read that Vitamin C helps to smoothen out the skin unevenness. I tried this for the past 3 nights (was instructed to put this before I sleep). I felt that it was a tad too rich (kinda oily) for me. Probably it is because these capsules are filled with PURE Vitamin C.
